Hey, you, all the Indian Football Fans, hope you are doing well in this difficult times.
This is a sincere plea to all the Indian Football Fans who have stood beside Techtro through thick and thin for the last 5 years.
You all have been our integral part of growth. Techtro started as a simple Social Media Channel which commenced in 2014. Mr. Neeraj Kholiya with his brainchild Techtro , at that time wanted to bring live footballing actions & updates from every corner of the country to all the curious Indian Football Fans. Starting from the non-streamed matches of Indian National Youth teams to the famous victory of Indian National Team (U-20) over Argentina U20 in COTIF Cup, Techtro had been the pioneer in enabling the whole country to watch history in the making. 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup was a turning point for Mr. Kholiya & Techtro as his extensive coverage of the U17 Indian Players got him recognition of all the football fans across the country & ignited in him the hope of building a Football Club , for the fans & by the fans.
Thus started the journey of him & his passion. Techtro , from being a small local club from Lucknow has now wriggled it’s way around all the hurdles & can now boast of being the first professional Club from Himachal Pradesh to have been nominated for I League 2nd division. From having Indian International players like Anwar Ali, Himanshu Jangra to have taken massive initiative to uplift Himachal Football Mr. Kholiya has done it all and now has set his sight on women’s football.
Since it’s the month of the International Women’s Day and the theme being #womenempowerment we want to provide the best we can to our Women’s Football Team who are competing in the debut of Himachal Women’s League 2021 at the Synthetic Track Stadium in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
We are determined to win this league and with your support these girls can qualify for the top tier of women’s football in India i.e. the Indian Women’s League. Fingers crossed; we will be the first team ever from Himachal to qualify for Indian Women’s League.
Earlier in the past with all your support Techtro Swades Football Club finished as runners-up in the first-ever edition of Himachal Football League and having earned the eligibility to play in 2020-21 season of I-League 2nd Division, it’s now time for the Techtro’s Women team to prove themselves.
Himachal Pradesh has one of the highest female sex-ratio in India and the highest in North India. Women from this state are getting empowered and dominating one of the most popular sports in the world - Football. In the recently concluded Hero, Junior Girl’s National Football Championship 2019-20 Himachal Pradesh girls were crowned champions.
The club founder Mr.Neeraj Kholiya is dreaming to set the standards at the topmost level and wants support of all of you to help these girls make it big in a state, where women think innumerous times to take up sports as a career. His passion for football has led him to the state of Himachal and seeing the potential of this place he wants everyone’s help to bring about a change through sports here. Sports is something that unites people and with your help he can provide for food and accommodation, transportation, kits , refreshment and recovery for these women who have a high potential of making Himachal proud .
Our women have a better chance to qualify for the FIFA World Cup than the Men’s team and a small contribution from you can help create a big difference in the mindsets of people and in return encourage women and empower them through the beautiful game of football.
